You are requesting an ESA/PSD letter for legitimate medical reasons
The letter is intended solely for use in accordance with applicable housing, air travel, or other regulatory environments where ESA/PSD benefits apply.
2. Eligibility
To request an ESA or PSD letter, you must meet the following criteria:
You are at least 18 years old, or if you are under 18, you must have a parent or legal guardian request the letter on your behalf.
You must have a verifiable disability that qualifies under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) or the Fair Housing Act (FHA) and requires the support of an ESA or PSD.
Your data must be reviewed by a licensed healthcare professional who can verify your need for an ESA or PSD.
3. Services Provided
CertifyESA provides the following services:
Emotional Support Animal Letters: CertifyESA issues official ESA letters that can be used to request housing accommodations and, in certain cases, to waive pet fees or deposits with landlords or housing providers.
Psychiatric Service Dog Letters: CertifyESA offers PSD letters for individuals with disabilities who require a psychiatric service dog to perform specific tasks related to their disability, as outlined in the ADA.
Phone Consultations: CertifyESA may offer telehealth consultations with licensed healthcare professionals who can assess whether you qualify for an ESA or PSD.
4. Your Responsibilities
By requesting an ESA or PSD letter from CertifyESA, you agree to:
Provide truthful, accurate, and complete information when submitting your request for an ESA or PSD letter.
Complete all necessary forms and provide relevant documentation that supports your request.
Understand that CertifyESA is not responsible for verifying the accuracy of the medical information you provide, and you are solely responsible for ensuring that the information provided is true and accurate.
Use the ESA/PSD letter for its intended purpose and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Understand that the ESA/PSD letter does not guarantee acceptance by a housing provider, airline, or any other entity. Acceptance is ultimately determined by the respective organization or authority.
Follow up with relevant parties (such as airlines, landlords, or other organizations) to ensure that your ESA or PSD letter is properly recognized.
5. Fees and Payment
Fee Structure: CertifyESA charges a fee for the issuance of ESA/PSD letters. The specific fee will be disclosed at the time of your purchase.
Payment Methods: Payments are processed via credit card, debit card, or other approved methods. You agree to pay the full amount as specified when making a request for the letter.
6. Refund Policy

Eligibility for Refund: A refund will be issued if your ESA or PSD letter is explicitly denied by your landlord or housing provider. The denial must be in writing, such as through an email or a formal letter from the landlord or housing authority, which clearly states that your request for housing accommodations based on the ESA/PSD letter was refused.

Proof of Denial: To qualify for a refund, you must submit proof of the denial to CertifyESA within 30 days of receiving the denial. This proof must be a copy of the official written denial, as described above.

Refund Process: Once we receive the proof of denial, CertifyESA will review the documentation and, if it meets the criteria outlined above, issue a 100% refund to the payment method originally used for the purchase.

Non-Refundable Situations: Refunds will not be issued in the following situations:

Failure to provide proof of the written denial within the specified 30-day period.
If the request for the letter was found to be fraudulent or based on false information.

No Refund Once Accepted: If the ESA/PSD letter is accepted by your landlord, housing provider, or any other entity, and later causes any issues, CertifyESA will not issue a refund. It is the responsibility of the user to ensure that the letter is used in compliance with all relevant rules and regulations.
6. Privacy and Confidentiality
CertifyESA values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. We collect and use your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Use by reference.
Information Collected: CertifyESA may collect personal information such as your name, address, contact details, medical history, and other relevant data required for issuing an ESA or PSD letter.
Use of Information: We will use the collected information solely to assess your eligibility for an ESA/PSD letter and to communicate with you about your request.
Third Parties: CertifyESA may share your information with third parties only when necessary to complete your request (e.g., with healthcare providers or telehealth professionals).
7. Phone Consultations
You are opting for a telehealth consultation as part of your ESA/PSD letter request, you agree to the following:
The telehealth consultation is intended to assess your need for an ESA or PSD and will be conducted by a licensed healthcare provider.
The consultation is not a substitute for in-person care and does not constitute medical treatment or diagnosis.
You will provide complete and accurate information during the consultation to ensure an accurate assessment.
The consultation will be confidential, and your healthcare provider will abide by relevant privacy laws.
8. Consent to Communication
By using CertifyESA’s services, you agree to be contacted by CertifyESA through the following communication methods:
Email: You agree to receive emails from CertifyESA regarding your request, updates on the status of your ESA/PSD letter, and any other relevant information related to the service you have requested.
Phone: You agree to receive phone calls from CertifyESA for service-related purposes, including consultations, clarifications, and updates regarding your request for an ESA/PSD letter.
Text Message (SMS): You agree to receive text messages (SMS) from CertifyESA for important updates related to your request, appointment reminders (if applicable), or any other communication related to the services provided.

CertifyESA reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time for any reason, including if you violate these Terms of Use. Upon termination, you must immediately cease using the services and destroy any materials related to CertifyESA’s services.

By requesting an ESA or PSD letter from CertifyESA, you acknowledge and agree that:
Pet Health: You are fully responsible for the health and well-being of your emotional support animal (ESA) or psychiatric service dog (PSD) at all times. This includes ensuring that your animal is up-to-date on vaccinations, veterinary check-ups, and any other health-related requirements necessary to maintain its well-being.
Animal Behavior and Training: You are responsible for the behavior, conduct, and training of your ESA or PSD. You understand that your animal must be well-behaved and not pose a threat or nuisance to others. The animal should be under control at all times in public spaces and housing accommodations.
Animal Safety: You are responsible for the safety of your ESA or PSD and must ensure that the animal is kept in a safe and secure environment. You agree to take all reasonable measures to prevent any harm to your animal or to others.
Cleanliness: You are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of your ESA or PSD. This includes cleaning up after your animal, ensuring it is groomed, and that it does not create an unsanitary environment in public places or in housing accommodations.
Animal Conduct: You agree to take full responsibility for the conduct and actions of your animal at all times, including any damage or injuries caused by the animal. You agree to take immediate corrective action if your animal exhibits inappropriate behavior, such as aggression, excessive barking, or destruction of property.
